Donald Bennet

Donald Bennet is a post-graduate cello student of Richard Lester at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He studies baroque cello with Alison McGillivray and viola da gamba with Liam Byrne. Prior to this Donald was an Instrumental Award Holder at Clare College, Cambridge and performed in Cambridge as co-principal of the Cambridge University Chamber Orchestra and with the Cambridge University Collegium Musicum on baroque cello. Donald enjoys performing in a wide array of ensembles in London and recent projects have ranged from Arne to Zappa.
